Look at what I finished up, today! I crocheted the front on Friday and it sat on my loveseat all weekend. I kept throwing ideas around about completing the pillow. I picked up my knitting needles for the first time in a while, the other day. I gathered some yarn in a basket for me to have downstairs at my disposal. I am one of those people that needs [...] Here’s my cupcake of the month, just in the nick of time! I was really craving chocolate, last weekend, but never got around to making the cupcakes. I had some extra time, yesterday evening, and whipped these up. I used the chocolate cupcake recipe on joyofbaking.com and a peanut butter frosting recipe from allrecipes.com. They [...] I have a new appreciation for rain, since buying a home. Mother Nature waters my lawn and my plants. It makes me happy. I sold the cross-stitch fabric and now have ZIPPERS up for sale! They’re pretty inexpensive, IMO, at 50 cents a pop. There’s also an option to buy all 36. If you do a lot of sewing with zippers, I think this would be a great deal! I have accumulated them from various places [...] So, that ear problem I mentioned in my last post turned out to be an infection. I lasted until Wednesday morning and then HAD to see a doctor. He said there was a small infection in my left ear. By this time there was swelling on my neck, so I needed some help in the [...] We moved about 40 minutes away from our old neighborhood. Where we used to live, there were at least 5 thrift stores we visited regularly. I’m sad that we no longer can drive 5 minutes to one of my favorites, but I’m also excited to make new favorites–to explore and discover new gems. Last Friday, [...] After many sweaty days and bathtub whines, I practically begged this one to get a haircut! OK. OK… so, I bribed him with a buck.
