For my 25 before 26 list: my first self-portrait and TtV photo of the year. The owls were a thrift store find. I thought it was kind of perfect, because I have two babies, one slightly bigger than the other. it was 3 bucks and an awful, dirty, reflective, and chipped gold. Jason [...] This photo of Orlando made it to The Pioneer Woman’s Group 4 kitty photos post. Since she posted the kitty assignment, last week, I’ve been rummaging through the photos I have of Orlando. Most are of him sitting on my window sill, like the one above, or sleeping in a hilariously cute position, like the [...] I’m participating in a group on flickr–for the LOVE of COLOR week. Today’s color(s): hot pinks, fuschias, raspberry. Living in a house of boys, those colors just aren’t the norm. I thought about going outside, but there aren’t many pretty flowers around here. So…I turned to my yarn stash. I started a pair of Mary [...] The theme this week at I ♥ faces doesn’t have anything to do with faces. It’s all about hands! I love little baby parts, including toes, feetsies, fingers, and even hands! I took this photo a few weeks ago at the park. I had a hard time photographing the boys that day because the sun [...] I might not be around the interwebs, tomorrow. My hubs leaves for a convention in Las Vegas (a men’s fashion convention–ha!), on Monday, so we’ll be spending Valentine’s Day packing and dealing with the emotions (mine. anxiety, hello!) of his departure. I’m trying my best to focus on the positives like: -Andy & I get the [...] I love using textures, so this was a tough decision! I chose this photo because I think Nathan is making an incredibly awesome face in it. He really has a flair for drama! check out some other excellent textured photos at I Heart Faces! my baby had his first haircut, today. I was majorly in denial he even needed one. I LOVED his long tresses (if you could even call them that). But. The longer his hair grew, the wispier it got. I even noticed he would wake up because his hair would tickle his face. Not cool! So, [...] This is the week of the huge birthday celebration at I[heart]Faces. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I regret not joining in on the fun earlier in 2009.
