First, I’m having a tiny sale in the shop, today. It’s Earth Day, so the cupcake containers and cassette wallet (both made of repurposed items) are 20% off. You could get a cupcake container for $12! You still get the free mini-brooch, if you buy any of those items. Now, onto the giggling two’s….I like this [...] After a little bit of thrifting on Saturday morning, I spent most of my afternoon thinking of ways to use my thread, helping Andrew go down for a nap, then crafting a bit. The older boys headed to the park to play frisbee, while Andy napped and I crocheted with a tiny hook (this one). [...] While I was taking photos of the ready-made cupcakes, I caught a glimpse of something in my peripheral vision; it was Andrew. Cheesing it up big time. This is what happens when you let big brother hold the Easter baskets. The little one has an ear infection. It’s slight, but we suspect that’s what’s been causing his fevers since Saturday. We picked up his medication on the way home and a few minutes after I administered it, half of which he spit out, he puked big time. GAH. That’s wonderful, isn’t it? He hasn’t had [...] Forgive me for my absence. The littlest one has had a fever for the better part of 4 days and I feel like I’m nursing allthetime. The good part is that I’m over halfway through Water For Elephants, which I started reading on Sunday. The bad thing is….well, my baby is sick and I’m nursing [...] It’s no secret Andrew likes to bring the drama to his mama. I have various photos on my flickr account of him yelling and/or crying at me. They’re usually the result of not enough nap time. He is not the best person to be around when he wakes up from a nap. I think I’m going to stop, this weekend. Nate will be at Grandma’s from Friday night through Sunday (Easter egg hunt at her church on Saturday morning–he’s [...] It kind of feels like that. At the same time, though, it feels like I’m not getting anything accomplished. I’m trying to make enough to comfortably stock a shop. I have a few pairs of Mary Jane slippers, cushion covers, hats, and yo-yo pins. It just doesn’t feel like that’s enough. That’s a sneak peek [...] It’s “Focusing on Angles” week at I ♥ faces! It was chilly out, so I was finally able to get photos of Nate in his cowboy boots and corduroy blazer ($1 at a thrift store)! He absolutely LOVES his boots. They’re his first pair.
