mini-doily pins

mini-doily pins

I finally got around to listing these little beauties on Etsy. You can see them in my brooches/pins section. I even listed a value pack for 3 of any color or color combination you like!

Please take a look and let me know what you think!

33.365: a love story

I made a few bookmarks using some of my favorite buttons. I kind of love them all! I thought others might, too, so I put some in the shop.

They’re made from an assortment of buttons, new and vintage–mostly the latter. I like how it hangs while I’m reading and the way it looks laying on my book.

pretty bookmark for a pretty book

In celebration of the upcoming love-day, I’m offering a 20% off your entire purchase coupon code, valid through the 13th. I can’t guarantee Valentine’s Day shipping, but it’s the thought that counts, right?

coupon code: LOVELOVELOVE20

I think they would make a beautiful little Valentine for the book lover in your life. ;)

Project 365: January & shop talk

Project 365: January

I’m proud to say I’ve completed my first month of Project 365: 2011! These are a few of my favorites. You can see more/read more at my Project 365 blog: Vivacity.

31.365: re-shoot!

I did a re-shoot of one of my favorite products in my shop, at the moment. All that yellow & gold! Big sigh! It’s currently on sale, so snag it while you can. I don’t know when/if I will make more of these.

Cupcakes for you

9.365: plate of cupcakes

I added some cupcakes to the shop, today. I created a new cupcake that features some pretty darn adorable ruffly frosting. I couldn’t get over how cushy it looked. These containers are good little trinket boxes and could even function as a pin cushion–tuck your notions inside! You can’t go wrong.

I updated the look of the blog a bit. I got rid of my menu bar (gasp!) and added some buttons to the left sidebar of my crochet tutorials/patterns. I also made a new header for the season of loooove. I LOVE (*snort*) it so much, I’ll probably keep it til my birthday–the first week of March. [Now you can’t forget! ;)]

What do you think? Like it? Hate it? Don’t care?

Greetings and a sale

I went to a cookie exchange and ended up being so full I could hardly look at my cookies when we were getting ready to leave. I consider that a successful party. Kudos to my aunt for totally decking the halls right. These ornaments hanging from the ceiling are the best. I couldn’t help taking a snapshot or two.

I ended up taking a combination of raspberry thumbprints and raspberry thumbprints covered in white chocolate ganache. Yeah, they were as good as they sound. The recipe is the same I’ve been using for the past couple of years. I can repeat it from memory, but I’ll just share the link. I skip the glaze. I’m just not too gung-ho about glaze.

Anyway! Did you know Christmas is next weekend??! Of course! I refuse to answer the question of whether or not I’m ready, or have done all my shopping, or have planned what, when, where, why we’ll do what we do. Let’s just enjoy these days. I have a 5 year-old who is off from school, so I’m going to be taking my vitamins, drinking my coffee, and trying not to let every little thing annoy the heck out me. I’m going to water my fuse and hope it grows.

On that note–winter is a few days away! If you find your noggin to be a little chilly, might I interest you in a little sale?
