Starting at midnight EST, every order over $10 before shipping will receive a FREE mini-brooch! These little guys are perfect for pinning on headbands, hats, bags, and even lapels. Just send me a note with your order that says your favorite color, or your most loathed, if that’s easier. I’ll whip a mini up just for you (!) and pop it into your package at no extra charge. It’ll be on its own little goodknits backing ready for you to either gift or keep.
Head on over to the goodknits shop to check out the gooooods!
The minis are approximately an inch in diameter. Promotion ends at midnight tomorrow night.

Andrew woke up without a fever, this morning! Huzzah!
To celebrate, I finished up, photographed, and listed a new item in the shop. These dark heathered gray slippers are adorned with one of my mini brooches (non-removable) made with vintage yarn and buttons. They should fit size 8-9.5. If you like this style and would like a different size, please let me know! I could make a custom listing for you.
Visit the shop for more photos + details. Thank you all for your continual support!
p.s.!
Andy’s taking a longer-than-expected nap, so I was able to also finish, photograph, and add a granny square pillow that’s been sitting in my craft-pile for the better part of a week! click above to get to the shop for more photos/details.
By Lisa Gutierrez on 04/01/2010 Today, I listed 3 pairs of crochet+button MINI-brooches. They’re about an inch in diameter and are SO cute. Head on over to THE SHOP to see the others! They’d be supremely cute on a lapel, or even on a headband. Keep them both or give one to a friend.
Why is it that mini always makes things way cuter? Mini-humans (aka BABIES) are probably the cutest, but others things like miniature puppies, mini-ice pops, and even mini cupcakes always get little MINI giggles from us. In fact, Nathan watched Honey I Shrunk the Kids with my dad the other day and had such a delightful time! There’s something about making things smaller that makes people happy. And I’m OK with that.
Anywho, stop by the shop, if you have some time. The minis are made with vintage yarn and buttons! Boy, I love finding old craft supplies at thrift stores and antique shops. I’ve amassed quite the collection.

100% wool, ready to toast your head. The absolutely electric color (“lemongrass”) is sure to add spunk to any dreary fall day.

my faux-flap hat. it incorporates “ear flaps” into the design (sort of like ganomey). It’s worked top-down in DC throughout.
I made a few extra.
