That right there is a turned heel with gusset stitches picked up. I finished the heel on Friday and continued on to finish the gusset on Saturday. I hope to have this sock finished by Monday, so I can [MAYBE!] move on to the next. I say maybe because I know what pattern I’m going to use my malabrigo for and I’m just itching to start those! ah, second-sock syndrome, how I loathe thee.

would a world with only odd socks and mittens be such a bad thing?

certainly not! the only complete pairs of socks I’ve made were gifts. I suppose if I get that gift-mentality going, I could finish.
