my mother had crochet snowflakes before she passed away. I used 1 part water to 1 1/2 glue mixed in a shallow dish, like a glass pie plate. put the snowflake in flat and made sure it was wet on both sides then spread it out on cardboard covered in saran wrap, pinned it in place and left it to dry. took two days but they came out great stiff enough to be hung on a Christmas tree, and they have held up beautifully over several years now. This might work with these doilys as well. Dip them in the glue mixture then spread them over the bowl. These bowls are beautiful.
