I won a 20 x 24 inch canvas from HelloCanvas.com on the shutter sisters blog, a few weeks ago (hello summer). I finally ordered, last Thursday, and it arrived on Monday. Talk about SUPER fast shipping! We absolutely looooooooove it! It is so beautifully printed. THANK YOU, Hello Canvas & shutter sisters! :D This is where [...] After many sweaty days and bathtub whines, I practically begged this one to get a haircut! OK. OK… so, I bribed him with a buck. That explains his cheery disposition at the noisy clippers getting run through his thick locks. In the excitement, I forgot to grab a sheet on the way out to the backyard. You [...] Sorry about that. We’re all moved in. Not completely settled, and I don’t quite know how many weeks we’ll be living out of boxes, but all our stuff is HERE. Allow me a bit to get my bearings. I’m still trying to get used to some things, like: having a garage, the plethora of insects that [...] I should probably stop calling him my baby. He’s the youngest, though, so he might be stuck with the “baby” nickname for all eternity. Or until I’m brave enough to get pregnant again (oh, the VOMIT!). He’s growing up fast! Because I knew he’d hate the long drive and then the long ceremony, I timidly [...] Yesterday was a pretty horrible day. Nothing happened, but I didn’t feel right at all. I felt completely uninspired on every front–crafts, photography, Etsy, etc. Today, though, I had some coffee and a good breakfast and I think I’ve redeemed myself. I have done the following: -crocheted new bookmarks for the shop We went to the park, this evening after dinner. That boy right there has found his courage. He tried to climb anything with a rung for him to hang on to. Ladders, slides, jungle gyms, etc. When he couldn’t quite climb the jungle gym (blame the short arms and legs), he started eating it… He was trying [...] The challenge this week at I ♥ Faces is collages. Who better a collage subject than a four-year old boy? Ohhh the faces he makes! I could fill an album to the brim with photos of his face. He has so many. They range from the handsome to the strange. And I love them all. [...] After a little bit of thrifting on Saturday morning, I spent most of my afternoon thinking of ways to use my thread, helping Andrew go down for a nap, then crafting a bit. The older boys headed to the park to play frisbee, while Andy napped and I crocheted with a tiny hook (this one). [...] I mean video! Chocolate Easter from hoffart on Vimeo.
