If you would like to see more photographs, please click HERE. these came out so cute I could punch somebody. I made ~3 dozen. They’re packaged and ready for my boys’ birthday party tomorrow! they were made following the tutorial on bakerella’s blog. I didn’t dip the tops, though. instead, I just swirled the candy with a bottle. makes it look like they’re really frosted! (devil’s food cake mixed with cream cheese frosting for the insides) I finished the cupcakes for my boys’ birthday party (this weekend!). I made 14 and am thinking of making one or two more, in case we get any surprise guests. I recycled yogurt cups, so these actually are little containers! see? I began working on these yesterday afternoon, crocheting whenever I had a little break. they’re surprisingly quick to make. I’ll be using some yogurt cups to make little containers [for candy, i think] as party favors for the boys’ birthday party next month. I’m undecided on the base. my first thought was to crochet them with some brown (chocolate cupcakes, anyone?) yarn, but my aunt said i should just use some decorative paper. that would be easiest, but I like the cushy feeling of yarn cupcakes! |
