365.146: cupcake tops

I began working on these yesterday afternoon, crocheting whenever I had a little break. they’re surprisingly quick to make. I’ll be using some yogurt cups to make little containers [for candy, i think] as party favors for the boys’ birthday party next month. I’m undecided on the base. my first thought was to crochet them with some brown (chocolate cupcakes, anyone?) yarn, but my aunt said i should just use some decorative paper. that would be easiest, but I like the cushy feeling of yarn cupcakes!

365.115: pink blanket, complete

another one! this time, for a girl. my cousin’s fetus, to be exact.

a baby blanket

365.109: blanket, completed! It looks like this when it’s unfolded. Its recipient is yet to be determined. I had been wanting to make a giant-granny square afghan for a while (like this one @ the purl bee), but then I decided I didn’t really like it with the colors I had, so I switched patterns at the last moment.

365.78: flowers

Nathan picked these up for me on his walk with my mom today. they wilted in his sweaty little palms.

365.77: brave boy…

…sort of. he likes to stand and cruise along things. he still can’t crawl, though! hrrmmph.
