have you checked this word “rube” in the dictionary?
probably not a great name for your pattern. o_O

    • Well, dang. NOW, I am aware of the slang term. They were named after a person, ‘Rube’ short for Reuben.

Wait a second here…why the negative twist on “rube?” There’s not a thing wrong with being an awkward, unsophisticated person from the country. The only people who might think that are self-center city folk. Those of us who were RAISED in the country don’t think we’re all that bad. ;)

First off, I want to say THANK YOU for the Pattern, I love it and I appreciate any gift that someone offers. Second, I don’t see anything wrong with a name. It’s a nickname no big deal and lastly, I’m from the City and we don’t all feel like the attacks and assumptions that are being made here. You don’t like to be attacked please give the same respect to everyone. We all deserve that no matter who we are or where we come from because we are all beautiful and unique.

Right? I’m a country girl through and through. My father’s literally a redneck, and in Molalla, where I hail from, bull riding is our town’s most popular “sport”. Rube, to me, isn’t even an insult, just a fairly accurate depiction.

  • Fingerless mittens, also known as fingerless gloves or wrist warmers, are a type of handwear that covers the palm and wrist while leaving the fingers exposed. They offer warmth to the hands while allowing for greater dexterity and tactile sensation compared to traditional gloves. Fingerless mittens are popular among people who need to use their fingers frequently, such as typists, photographers, or those using touchscreens in cold weather.
