For ornaments! And more specifically, little doily snowflake ornaments. Yes, my fingers hurt, but oh it hurts so so good! I really dig making these babies and I really, really, like the way they look hanging about my house. I contemplated just keeping them all. But that would be greedy! So, if you’d like to add some to your holiday decor, or to your Christmas tree, please do check them out, in the shop.

I thought I would take a break from sewing and this belly ache to introduce you to the duo-tone slouch hats that are currently available in the goodknits shop. One is a duotone green (lemongrass & olive) and the other is two shades of gold. The golden hat actually has one of my favorite shades of bright gold in it. It’s a vintage acrylic yarn that reminds me of turmeric. I don’t have anymore of that yarn, so if you are a lover of the color, please check it out!

After I send the boy to school, put the little one down for a nap, and inhale my big cup of coffee, I will be listing a plethora of pom poms! Various sizes and colors will be available. This weekend, I added a new slouch (in dark gray/black) and a listing for a custom one. Every slouch/beret order through Friday will get a free pom pom! They’re removable (pin) and ohsocute.

Introducing the newest member of the goodknits family: the slouch. You can find a few available at my shop in the “hats/berets” section. It took me a while, but I finally got down a pattern I can love. If there is any interest from my fellow knitters, I can also list the pattern. I’ve never formally put out a knitting pattern. This one is simple but interesting.
In a day or two, I plan to list some pom poms. I LOVE pom poms and I made a bunch, the other day. You can add them to the berets, your other hats, your bag, or even pin them to your shirt as a sort of makeshift pom pom brooch. That’d be awesome.
Take a gander at the slouches listed and if you like one, pick it up! I have a few more on my needles and hope to get them finished this weekend. I am taking custom orders, if you want to request a certain color. Send me a message on Etsy or shoot me an email: lisa@goodknits.com
