Hello, friends! Long time no see! I’ve been dealing with a lot of personal stuff since Easter (mainly sickies), so I have not devoted any time to blogging. It’s ok, though. I think we all need a little reboot from time to time.
My little one is still under the weather, so I will just ease my way back into the swing of things. I thought I’d start with this peek at a new doily blanket. I have made it twice and I’m digging it. It’s about 42″ diameter and feels more…meaty than my others. It’s still lacy, but it’s got some weight.
I put it on my wall to photograph, yesterday, and it’s still there. I kind of love it.

Oh no! Sorry you guys have been under the weather lately! My family’s been sick for a crazy long time too, and it’s not fun.
In love with your new blanket! The color is gorgeous, and the lace is amazing. You always inspire me to crochet some blanets. :-)
This is absolutely gorgeous. I’ve seen a few crocheters use doily patterns and turn them into super blankets. I am sorely tempted to do one. Sooo many projects to do. There are way too many enablers out there lol :)
Sorry to hear you’ve all been under the weather lately. Hope you’re all feeling better now x
Lisa, it’s fabulous. I’m excited to try a more “meaty” one. I was actually thinking earlier tonight about trying one of the other doily blanket patterns I own with a heavier or bulky yarn to achieve something meatier and I log in and here’s this…perfect! Hope you are all feeling better soon!
Lisa…Its spectacular! I love it and cannot wait to try it!. I love it on the wall.
Love it!
Can’t wait to see the pattern for this doily blanket!!!!
Glad you’re feeling better! Love this colorful doily! : )
My dad brought me back two HUGE hanks of undyed wool from Mexico and I want to make something special with it – I think a doily blanket would be perfect.. now to add THAT to my ever growing project list :-|
Must make this next! Love it! :O)
lovely as always! your patterns are always awesome and everyone i’ve made one of your blankets for has love it!
It’s really gorgeous, Lisa! Love this one. Wish I had known you needed testers. Darn it! I saw Neicee’s and hers turned out great. How did you hang that on your wall? Did you use nails or tacks or what? It looks great up there!
