I want a cat. bad.

Orlando

This photo of Orlando made it to The Pioneer Woman’s Group 4 kitty photos post. Since she posted the kitty assignment, last week, I’ve been rummaging through the photos I have of Orlando. Most are of him sitting on my window sill, like the one above, or sleeping in a hilariously cute position, like the ones below. They’ve all given me kitty fever.

Since Nathan was born, I kinda lagged on the kitty-mama front. He still got cuddles and I made him kitty toys stuffed with cat nip, but long gone were the days when I spent a good chunk of my time snapping photos of him talking to birds or sleeping on my bed. Nathan commanded most of my time.

Now that my babies are not-so-babyish, I find myself wanting another furry companion. Then, this photo showed up in her group 5 photos. And I died. Future-kitty will have big paws to fill. I want to got to the local humane society. Right now.

  • I have kitty fever. I’ve had it for 6 years now. Cory & his mom are both deathly allergic..like can’t breathe & need medication allergic. I had to get rid of my kitty before we got married. Her name was Darby & she was adorable. I only have 1 picture of her..an old polaroid. I need to dig around & find it.

  • I have the fever too! I’m away at college, and miss my two cats at home. I live alone, I want a kitten to keep me company so badly!

  • We have an adorable little kitty that needs a new home if you are interested. She is black with a corkscrew tail. We rescued her but my allergies are giving me hell and I can’t give her all of the kitty love that she needs.

  • get one – i have two. they’re awesome – low maintenance and great (hilarious) little guys to have around. :)
