I guess this is a giveaway.

newknits

New Knits on the Block, by Vickie Howell (host of DIY’S ‘Knitty Gritty’). I haven’t knit anything from the book (I got 2, yesterday), but there’s a really cute crown and cape pattern inside.

Just leave a comment. Tell me your current project or just say “Hi!”

1 entry per person, please. If only one person enters, you get it! :D

ETA: I’ll close this on Thursday evening (7PM CST).

    Hi!

I would love to win, but then you’d have to send it to Belgium … so I don’t think I’d make a chance.
There are so little good knitting books in Dutch.

    Hi!

How nice of you to give away a book! =] Current project(s): A vest for my dad, a bunch of tawashi, a scarf and some other hibernating things that are waiting for Christmas knitting to be over.

So I don’t actually knit, but with a book in my personal library maybe it will give me that final push I need to start learning, eh? I crochet and sew and am currently working on a stocking swap for Craftster. I think I am going to use your crochet mary jane pattern for it maybe. Maybe. Or I may just make them for myself. We’ll see how badly I love them when I’m done.

Looks like a fun book! At the moment I don’t have any knitting on the go, but am working on several crocheted items: cardigan, a couple of scarfs and a wrap vest/top. I want to make so many things!!

What a generous giveaway! I’d love this book. I am currently knitting my first adult sized sweater and need ideas for the next project. This book would be perfect.

Oh, I hope I didn’t miss it! I am currently knitting a scarf, unfortunately, it has been an aside project for too long. this should really get me back into it.
