same goes with this one.

I’m still trucking along with my crochet and knit. I think I’m going to stop, this weekend. Nate will be at Grandma’s from Friday night through Sunday (Easter egg hunt at her church on Saturday morning–he’s super excited), so I should have some time to photograph products. I’m brainstorming the photos in my head and am anxious to get started! I suppose I could still crochet away once products are listed. I know I’m not going to sell-out right off the bat, so I can rest assured that my shop will always be adequately stocked. If nothing sells, these things will make good gifts throughout the year, right? Right!

i {heart} faces: hands-on fun!

The theme this week at I ♥ faces doesn’t have anything to do with faces. It’s all about hands! I love little baby parts, including toes, feetsies, fingers, and even hands! I took this photo a few weeks ago at the park. I had a hard time photographing the boys that day because the sun was extremely high and I kept going in and out of the shade. I did get a few and this was one of my favorites.

I {heart} Faces: best face photo challenge!

This is the week of the huge birthday celebration at I[heart]Faces. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I regret not joining in on the fun earlier in 2009. I had heard about it, but didn’t start participating until the end of the year. I love that place.

Anyway, this week they’ve requested “the face photo that you love the best that you took either in the month of December 2009 or in early January 2010…and that shows off where you are in your photography journey right now.” This is my favorite from December. It depicts my baby just waken from a nap. He is a GRUMP when he just wakes up. No joyful baby sighs or giggles here.

I took it in December, a week or so after I got my new lens–the elusive nikon 35mm f1.8. This is where I am on my photography journey. Falling in love with portraits…falling oh so in love with faces.
