A few years ago, I knit a heart and put it into a scrapbook 12″x12″ frame. It’s on the wall in my little foyer (seen here) and I kind of love it.
When I came across this pin of a crochet pineapple heart (on Valentine’s Day, no less), I knew it would make a great accompaniment to my knit heart. You can find the original crochet hotpad pattern HERE. I used some worsted weight yarn and 5.5mm (US-I) hook.
It’s kind of beautiful.
Oooh – it’s gorgeous!! :) That pattern would make a cute coaster or something, too (a few in a little pile!)…maybe it’s too big, he he. :) Lovely!
In LOVE!
Thank you! xoxo
ps I am looking at the pattern now – was wondering if you could share how you did your beautiful edging around the heart… it reminds me of the edging on the willow doily blanket – kind of… (I’m on Georgia now – and loving it!) And also – one more question – the yarn is so pretty – the color and texture – is that Vanna’s Choice by chance? Would love to know how to make just what you did!
love it! so pretty :)
