34.365: a wall

I have been here. Home. I have been slacking off on my blog and I do apologize. I just needed a bit of a break from the hustle and bustle of the internet-world. It’s on 24 hours a day! I couldn’t keep up and so I took a breather. I’m glad. I have my Project 365 photos to post (my Vivacity blog has been neglected for a while!) and some WIPs I’d like to blog about. I hope that I can get my blogging mojo back. Perhaps I should look into scheduling posts. Every time I do, though, it never seems to post, so I end up manually updating later.

work! booo :( but i love that clock!

  • I love your house. I’m officially requesting a video tour, please.
Nothing has occupied my time but work work work. Tonight I plan on learning to embroider, yes I do.

    • Oh, pleeeease! It’s hardly dolled up. I have found that I “decorate” very slowly. Don’t even look in my boys’ bedroom! It’s a disaster with mismatched furniture and a carpet of toys. This is the only wall I really like. haha!

      How’d the embroidering thing go??

      • ugh I’m awful. I haven’t even ironed the freakin transfer onto the fabric yet.
Some day when I’m not running 500 different ways I’ll do it.

And yea.. we have about 12 cans of paint waiting to be loved and placed on our walls, but I need some time to breathe before I can that too.

Some day we’ll get our shit together.

  • sometimes we all need a break from the interwebs! good for you for taking it! We (your blog fans) aren’t going anywhere!
this week I blogged more than usual (see… i was your universal balance), finished up an order for a local boutique, & watched the pretty rain fall from the sky!

    • I’m glad people are sticking around! :)

I love your Loteria collages!! We’re big Loteria fans in this house. I grew up watching my mom play with neighbors. I got to sit in on games when she had to answer the phone/take a pee break/whatever! It was always awesome.

  • I’ve been busy reading and working on knitting a scarf all the while dreaming of spring. I love your wall decorations. I have a few bare walls and yours have inspired me. =)

    • Aw yay!! I like the wall, finally. I have been swapping out frames and prints and photos for MONTHS. I think I’ve finally settled on something for a while.

Good luck with your scarf! I stated a shawlette, today. It’s a lot of stockinette stitch, but it’s pretty soothing. Nice to unwind with.

  • We spent most of the weekend redecorating our bedroom and consequently my craft room. I found a beautiful walnut dresser on Kijiji and it has changed everything in our room. Oh, and I’m totally snagging that hooped doily idea for my craft room. You’ll see it in photos I’m sure! <3
