I posted the story of my son’s birth on my Livejournal the week it happened, but just now realized I hadn’t posted it here. Andrew’s birth story starts on Thursday, the 15th. I had an afternoon appointment with my midwife, Bernadette, and I finally consented to a cervical exam. My cervix was 3cms dilated, 50% effaced, [...] my new son is absolutely amazing.
