HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I regret not joining in on the fun earlier in 2009. I had heard about it, but didn&#8217;t start participating until the end of the year. I love that place. <\/p>\n<p>Anyway, this week they&#8217;ve requested &#8220;the face photo that you love the best that you took either in the month of December 2009 or in early January 2010&#8230;and that shows off where you are in your photography journey right now.&#8221; This is my favorite from December. It depicts my baby just waken from a nap. He is a GRUMP when he just wakes up. No joyful baby sighs or giggles here. <\/p>\n<p>I took it in December, a week or so after I got my new lens&#8211;the elusive nikon 35mm f1.8. This is where I am on my photography journey.
