I know sometimes we don&#8217;t have a lot of time to get crafty, so I hope to provide a few little bits of inspiration to help you get something done quick. First up is a painted pot, inspired by lacey scallops.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/yarnattacks\/7456451872\/\" title=\"t01 by Lisa | goodknits, on Flickr\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8154\/7456451872_1703d6f747_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"424\" alt=\"t01\"><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Supplies:<br \/>\n-clay pot<br \/>\n-1&#8243; circle stickers (I made mine with my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B002U6XDJM\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B002U6XDJM&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=goodknits-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B002U6XDJM\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/>Xyron 150<\/a>, but you can find circle labels at office supply stores)<br \/>\n-paint<br \/>\n-paint brush<br \/>\n-wooden skewer or thin paint brush (not shown)\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/yarnattacks\/7456453222\/\" title=\"t02 by Lisa | goodknits, on Flickr\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8152\/7456453222_edf452cebc_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"320\" alt=\"t02\"><\/a><\/center><br \/>\n1. Place stickers along the rim of the planter, very slightly overlapped. I fit 14 on my 4.5&#8243; pot.<br \/>\n2. Paint! I suggest about 3 thin coats. Let the pot dry for 2-3 minutes between coats. Optionally, you can also paint about an inch of the inside.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/yarnattacks\/7456454428\/\" title=\"t03 by Lisa | goodknits, on Flickr\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8028\/7456454428_6a4642ecf7_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"320\" alt=\"t03\"><\/a><\/a><\/center><br \/>\n3. Remove the stickers before the final coat dries completely.<br \/>\n4. Use a wooden skewer or thin paintbrush to add 3 little dots on each scallop.<\/p>\n<p>Let your pot dry, then fill it with your favorite little plant. I chose some of my &#8216;Black Prince&#8217; echeverias.
