I didn&#8217;t have any plans for the rest of it until I saw <a href=\"http:\/\/larissmix.typepad.com\/stitch_marker\/2006\/01\/the_bonnet_more.html\">this<\/a>. I doubled the yarn and it worked out well, I think.<BR><\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><BR><a title=\"Photo Sharing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/yarnattacks\/1207167508\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: 2px solid #000000;\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1221\/1207167508_919c4df110.jpg\" alt=\"Feather and Fan Bonnet\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pattern:<\/strong> Feather and Fan Bonnet, as seen on <a href=\"http:\/\/larissmix.typepad.com\/stitch_marker\/2006\/01\/the_bonnet_more.html\">Stitch Marker<\/a>.<br \/>\n<strong>Yarn:<\/strong> ~half a skein of KnitPicks&#8217; Superwash\/Nylon Fingering Weight kettle-dyed with kool-aid.<br \/>\n<strong>Needles:<\/strong> Boye Balene US 6<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not so sure about the ribbon. I think it provides a nice vibrant contrast, but do the colors really go? I found it on a trip to Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago. if I decide it doesn&#8217;t mesh too well with this yarn, I&#8217;m going to reserve the ribbon for another feather and fan bonnet, for sure. I think it would look particularly nice on, say, a plain white or cream one.<\/p>\n<p>I really really really like the feather and fan stitch pattern. especially with the little garter row.
