This week, I used a french press for the first time ever. It’s almost torture waiting for the coffee to seep a bit. I distracted myself by taking photos. The coffee is pretty good, though it might also have to do with the fresh ground coffee. OR the splash of milk I put in. OR the fact that I know it will unzombify me. OR because my mug is so cheerful. I think it’s everything combined–the beauty, the deliciousness, the effectiveness, the happiness.
That coffee looks so good, I bet it tasted good too! I love french presses.
It was yummy! I didn’t even buy the expensive stuff. This is like a three dollar bag of hazelnut beans. I grinded the night before and it was delicious!
That is a very happy mug! I love great mugs. We have way too many in our house yet we can’t stop buying them.
neither can I! I’ve even bought one with my kid’s name on it. It’s a souvenir mug from Virginia Beach and it has “ANDREW” plastered on it. I figure he’ll thank me some day.
reading your blog right now and another at same time…then i noticed you both posted same mug. heh
